Celtic are reportedly still in talks with Tottenham Hotspur over a deal for central defender Cameron Carter-Vickers.
The Hoops have been linked with several defensive targets this summer, signing one so far – Carl Starfelt.
Carter-Vickers name has propped up on a couple of occasions, and American Journalist Larry Henry Jnr has claimed Celtic and English Premier League side Newcastle both remain in talks with the 23-year old.
An update on Cameron Carter-Vickers, per a source close to the player. Both Celtic and Newcastle remain in talks with Tottenham over a deal and Spurs will received a sell-on clause in addition to a transfer fee. #USMNT

The American defender has been part of new Spurs boss Nuno Espirito Santo’s pre-season preparations. However, it appears that they will still be looking to offload the defender this summer.
Ange Postecoglou and his side remain in desperate need of options in the centre of defence, so you would imagine the 55-year old is looking to bring players in as soon as possible.
Fingers crossed, we can see more progress on the defensive front as the weeks go on, with Carter-Vickers potentially making a move up North to Glasgow.
