We’re less than a month away from the transfer window re-opening for January and with that brings transfer speculation.

There are likely to be more ins than outs at Celtic over the piece but we are intrigued to see where Neil Lennon looks to strengthen.

According to SunSport, Celtic have scouted 21-year-old Ismaila Soro who currently plays in the Israeli league. The report claims it would take £3m to land Ismaila.

The Ivory coast defensive midfielder currently plays for Bnei Yehuda and is one of their top players.

Celtic have already found success in the Israeli market recently with Hatem Elhamed. The defender has been great since coming, although an injury is hampering Hatem making a bigger impact.

Celtic have a lot of midfielders at the moment and Olivier Ntcham struggles to get into the side – bringing another midfielder might not be the biggest priority but a defensive midfielder should be high up the list.

We know how well Scott Brown is playing and can play, so he’s always going to start, but we must look to ease the burden on the Celtic captain and start to look at long term replacements for when he does hang up his boots.

  1. Go for Edward Lee siliki of Rennes far better than brown and soro both would get him for about 6 million as he would come Porto offered 8 million euros but think he would prefer us as a stepping stone
