CELTIC have been linked with a move for Giannis Bouzoukis according to reports in Greece over the past 24 hours.

SDNA claim the Scottish Champions have been keeping a close eye on the central midfielder this season and could make their move in January.

Celtic are likely to add to their squad with a centre-back, central midfielder and striker being top of the agenda for the second half of the season.

Bouzoukis, 21, is playing his first full season of professional football with Panathinaikos – playing 15 games in all competitions.

The claim is Celtic have sent scouts to watch the player in Athens as well as seeking him out on international duty.

January’s window isn’t going to see major upheaval from this Celtic team who are flying at the moment. Last season around this time – Celtic were stumbling to the winter shutdown and needed a fresh injection of energy in the last January window.

Anyone coming in will supplement the squad and will find it challenging trying to breakthrough into this squad.
