Celtic are ramping up their recruitment just weeks after the summer window closed – it has been revealed.

The Scottish Champions had another successful recruitment drive under Ange Postecoglou and are looking strong as they head into October.

This season is very different from others, with the World Cup falling half way through the campaign. It means the January window will see a lot of movement based on players performance at the international tournament. Ange Postecolgou has confirmed he needs to stay ahead of the game, knowing some of his prized assets could be moved on over the next 12 months.

Ange had a philosophy on the pitch that he never stops. It goes for his recruitment too, he doesn’t want to be reactive in the market, the Australian wants to be proactive. It means signing Matt O’Riley six months before Tom Rogic is moving on. Allowing players to bed in before setting them loose on the first team in a weekly basis.

RecordSport report tonight Ange and Celtic are looking to dip back into the Israeli market after being successful with Liel Abada. The bhoys are scouting wonder kid Oscar Gloukh. The Israeli under 21 midfielder is catching the eye of many scouts across Europe. The youngster having an eye for a goal and assist.

It’s imperative Celtic find young players to develop where they can buy low, sell high and benefit from their talents while they’re around.
