CELTIC will this week seek answers as to why Celtic fans were treated with disdain by police and stewards as they made their way to Tynecastle on Sunday.

A video captured by a Celtic fan on the ground shows the stewards and police trying to slam a gate shut on unsuspecting Celtic fans who have to push back in order not be crushed with a flow of people behind them.

Also marching the Celtic fans up a cramped side street where there was very little room for manoeuvre

Celtic fans were outraged at the treatment and it’s clear to see how the police STILL view football fans going to watch their team play.

The Celtic SLO John Paul Taylor has assured the fans that he will seek answers this week as to why these actions were taken by Edinburgh police.

JP was part of security talks before the game and told fans the plan was to set up a barrier away to stop overcrowding at the turnstiles but admitted the treatment was over the top and way past what was discussed.

  1. The Pigs showing there Underhand TacTics,Nothing but Disgraceful.A total lack of respect for Celtics support. There is Nothing that Vermin can state to Justify there treatment of Our Wonderful Fans. Its obvious What side of the coin they Are,Fcking Animals.HfH

  2. The Edinburgh police have always been very heavy handed as far as Celtic supporters are concerned. Many years have past since I have been to Tyncastle, but it was always a very tight place to get into. The Edinburgh police have not got a patch Inthe Glasgow police for crowd control! Now is the time after yesterday’s showing, that Celtic should be asking questions, and not be fobbed off!

  3. Time for celtic to push for answers to this shambolic treatment to there supporters. I traveled many times in the late 70/80 and still recall the bad behavour over handed of the Edinburgh Police. Shame on you lot.
