PREMIER SPORTS has confirmed the dates and times of the semi-final of the league cup.

Celtic are set to take on Kilmarnock for a place in the final of the competition after overcoming Motherwell in the quarter-final.

We now know the game will take place on January 14th at 5:30pm.

The games usually take place in November, but due to the World Cup taking place this winter, everything has been pushed back.

Celtic are looking to retain the trophy after winning it last season against Hibernian. It was Ange’s first trophy at Celtic and helped propel the bhoys to a memorable league title victory.

Kyogo’s brace against the Easter Road side was enough to clinch the trophy at Hampden.

Celtic will take on a Derek McInnes side at the national stadium, something they were very used to doing during the quadruple treble years. The bhoys regularly knocks Aberdeen out of the competition.

Famously, Tom Rogic scored the late winner against Aberdeen to complete the invincible treble.
