CELTIC have sent out a mass email to season ticket holders this evening to warn them to ‘be prepared for Celtic Park being plunged into darkness’.

The club have been preparing the fans all week for the game changing spectacle about to be introduced to a European night at Celtic Park.

Many of you would have seen the lights being tested recently with a video doing the rounds on social media and it looks dramatic to say the least.

The email read: Prepare for Paradise to be plunged into darkness, before being lit up like never before as we crank up the legendary atmosphere throughout the build up to kick-off.

The lightshow will contain no light sequences of unusual colours or frequency that would raise concerns about photosensitivity among the general public. All the sequences of lights adhere to the guidelines for lightshows and broadcast media, they have been used in other stadia without adverse effect, and have been approved for use in a public setting.

However, we would advise anyone who may find such lightshows uncomfortable to consider whether it is best for them to avoid being in the main stadium bowl during the show.

The lightshow will start shortly after 7:45pm tomorrow nightand will finish shortly before the teams come out on to the pitch at 7:55pm.

Celtic take on Leipzig in what will be a pivotal night for Celtic’s Last 32 Europa League aspirations.

The bhoys are set to welcome back long term absentee Yousuff Mulumbu and are riding high domestically scoring 23 goals in five domestic games.

Here’s hoping the lights bring us luck!
