Celtic Fans will find out shortly if Celtic Park will host a test event which will pave the way for the club to get some sort of crowd back to the stadium in September.
The government will ease restrictions on gatherings inside stadiums but they will be running at a severely diminished capacity. Some fans are better than no fans though!
The club has been pushing to hold a test event which would see the bhoys pilot the event versus Motherwell this weekend, They are now locked in talks this morning to make that happen, if they can get the go-ahead, 1000 Celtic fans will be balloted and invited to the stadium to take part in the event.
Up to 1000 Celtic fans could return to Celtic Park for the visit of Motherwell this weekend. Decision due tomorrow after meeting between SPFL and government. Still very much in the balance. pic.twitter.com/CVCIcpBQWG

We’re a long way from being given a full stadium green light but in the interim, it’s about showing we can go to games responsibly without the virus getting out of hand because of the gatherings.
We’ll keep you up to date with the latest on the event.
