It’s been a long road for CelticAreHere.com when it comes to having meaningful dialogue with the club.

This year, the club have opened up to fan media and it’s been to the betterment of the Celtic support.

While we have had regular access to new summer signings, B team and the women’s game; Celtic have been reluctant to put our manager up in front of fan media.

It was Dom McKay who set up the meet and greet back in June where CeltsAreHere attended a Q&A with the now former chief exec and the manager.

Since then, the trail has run cold on speaking with Ange Postecoglou, that is, until now.

We got the word last week fan media would be getting another crack at the manager and they’ve kept their word. On Monday, Celtic fan media will sit down with Ange [via Zoom] and answer our questions.

There’s some scepticism from supporters about how these things come about and the parameters set by the club in order for us to gain access.

Let me put your mind at ease, Celtic do not get to screen questions before hand, they don’t tell us anything’s off limits and we’re free to ask what we like. We do only get one question per fan media outlet due to time constraints.

We don’t get asked to ‘go easy’ on the club in return for access either.

Ange has been prickly with the mainstream media and has took them to task several times already in his short tenure. We expect a much more relaxed Ange, knowing he’s speaking to Celtic supporters.

CeltsAreHere.com has been going for over ten years. We’ve constantly evolved and thanks to readers like yourself, we’re in a position to ask pressing questions on the supports behalf – we don’t take that responsibility lightly.

We’re looking forward to chatting with Ange.

  1. Excuse my ignorance, but I assume the fan media speak with each other to ensure this valuable opportunity is not wasted by 2, or more, excellent Celtic outlets asking the same question?
Keep up the great work guys.
    looking forward to the meeting.
