CELTIC look set to hand Neil McCann’s Dundee side a boost for the season by loaning out Calvin Miller to the Dens Park club.

Dundee have currently 0 points from 2 games and were knocked out of the League Cup by Ayr United – leaving the former Sky Sports man’s coat on a shaky peg.

Calvin has just signed a new deal with the bhoys and like Ross Doohan, after signing the deal will be put straight out on-loan to get first-team football.

Calvin is a natural striker but Brendan Rodgers made the player into a makeshift left back last season to help Kieran Tierney out and deputise in the Celtic star’s absence.

This season, Calvin will not need to do the same and go out and get some real game time after the club re-signed Emilio Izaguirre to fill that position.

It’s unclear where Rodgers sees Calvin’s best position, we will likely get an idea when he turns out for his loan club Dundee.

There was bound to be some sort of conversation between Rodgers and McCann about where he should be playing before any deal was done.

Elsewhere, Celtic have been urged to sign Chelsea legend John Terry. Celtic have been struggling defensively and some believe the Champions League winner could steady the defensive ship.
