Some Celtic fans may groan at the prospect of another loan but they shouldn’t if reports are correct that the club are close to landing Mohamed Elyounoussi on loan from Southampton.
The winger was only signed by the club last summer and cost them a whopping £16m to secure from Basel.
Mohamed can play left or right wing but mostly left.
STV has learned that Celtic will sign Mohamed Elyounoussi from Southampton. Left winger, Norwegian international. Big signing. Told it’s a season long loan deal.

The player is under contract to 2023 and it would be unlikely Celtic will have a buy out clause. To get this lad in for a season could be a game changer. It would certainly spell the end of Scott Sinclair at the club with the player pushed further down the pecking order.
We’ll keep an eye on this one but from where the reports are coming from it looks like a goer.
