Celtic are reportedly set to complete a move for ex-Chelsea and Bournemouth keeper Josh Clarke [Daily Record].

If the 18-year old decides to make the switch to Glasgow it is likely that he would go straight into the B team set up.

The young keeper has already been involved with the Northern Ireland set up where he will have been working under Quadruple cup final hero Conor Hazard.

There are also a number of top Premier League clubs interested in the player but it looks as though the Hoops are closing in on the signing.

After an almost two year stint at Bournemouth, the keeper headed to Glenavon for a short spell to ease their goalkeeping issues but is now a free agent and is ready to be snapped up.

It is reported that Clarke has been on Celtic’s radar for some time now and the club were scouting him during his time playing in the Danske Bank Premiership.

The Hoops B team transfers seem to be completely separate from the first team with it believed that Stephen McManus and Darren O’Dea are the final decision makers when it comes to transfers.

If Clarke does opt for the move to Celtic he will be up against Tobi Oluwayemi and Joe Morrison to be the starting regular keeper.
