For those of us at a certain age, you will remember The Master’s football.
Some of you will be surprised to hear it’s not been around for 11 years at this point.
The Master’s Football competition was a chance for football heroes from a bygone era to pull on their team colours again and play against each other in an indoor football competition.
360 SPORTS revealed this week the tournament will be returning and Celtic will be part of it.

It begs the question, with so many players who have played for Celtic and hung up their boots in the last twenty years, who will dawn the famous green and white once again?
Could we see Chris Sutton involved? Jackie McNamara? Simon Donnelly, Mark Wilson…dare I say, Neil Lennon?
The competition won’t be back until 2023 but will feature regional heats who will then move onto the grand tournament at the end of the series.
We’re looking forward to seeing some of the old players who used to strut their stuff come back and get competitive.
