Celtic Supporter Liason Officer John Paul has confirmed on social media that he has set up a meeting between himself and FoCUS (Football Coordination Unit for Scotland) after pictures emerged of police filming fans during this weekends FRIENDLY against Standard Liege.
Fackthebill campaigned tirelessly against the criminalisation of normal football fans posted the image on their social media feed much to the disgust of supporters.
The unpopular and ineffective Football Behaviour Act was finally axed this year after many injustices and inappropriate policing. However, the police still feel compelled to film normal football fans while they’re watching their team – something Celtic will now seek answers for.
Fans being treated like criminals merely for stepping inside a stadium is abhorrent.
Filming and harassing fans during a non event friendly. The Act is gone, but fans are for now, still viewed and treated as potential criminals. This needs to change. pic.twitter.com/xTkylMGjUg

Isn’t it a criminal offence to knowingly target people without their permission?
