Celtic will take on Milan in their first Europa League group match this month but there’s a chance they will play the Italian side without star man Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

RecordSport claim the Swedish striker is still returning positive COVID results after testing positive in late September.

From what we gather, the only thing that would keep Zlatan out of the tie at this point is lack of fitness. However, he has plenty of time between now and match time to get up to speed

Celtic should not be preparing for a side without the veteran in their ranks.

The bhoys have their own COVID problems; Edouard has tested positive while Ryan Christie has to isolate for two weeks after coming into close contact with a positive case.

Both players will be available for the Milan game, but likely to miss the Glasgow Derby.

It’s a precarious time for football clubs all across the world.
