Celtic have announced another youth signing this afternoon with the capture of Vincent Angelini who signs on with the developmental side.
Vincent is the grandson of Celtic legend Davie Hay and will follow in his grandfathers footsteps by pulling on a Celtic jersey.
The club has been very proactive in bringing in more players to develop for the coming years.
Neil Lennon and head of youth Chris McCart will certainly be overseeing these additions.
The reserve side are in action tonight in the Challenge cup this evening – playing Queens Park at 7:45pm.
The reserve side, like recent years have been included in the competition.
Queens Park look to play an experimental side against an inexperienced Celtic XI.
Davie Hay is still an ambassador at the club and will be very proud his grandson has been picked up by the club.
He will know there’ll be no room for sentiment though once the player gets the gloves on. You have to be the very best to make it through to the first team.
