Celtic have sent their man Jonathan Afolabi out on a season long loan to Dundee but not before getting the Irishman to sign a new deal.
Afalobi signed for Celtic last summer but a mixture of injury, bad luck and his loan spell at Dunfermline being cut short, the frontman has not been able to properly show what he can do.
The striker started a friendly for Dundee on Tuesday evening and got among the goals on his debut.
Celtic are still keen to bring Jonathan through to the first team. Sky Sports man Anthony Joseph reports the club signed the forward to a new deal before leaving for Dundee.

His new deal with the Scottish champions will run until the end of the 2022/23 season.
Afolabi will spend the whole of this season at The Dees.
If he can make a big impact for Dundee, it could make all the difference.
Right now, Celtic’s striker scene is busy. Odsonne Edouard, Albian Ajeti, Patryk Klimala and Leigh Griffiths are the four strikers in the first team squad.
