CELTIC’S developmental side beat Chelsea Under 23s 1-0 in a closed door game in London on Wednesday afternoon.
The club announced the game on social media on Wednesday morning with the academy page keeping us all up to date with how the game was going.
It was a serious starting XI for Celtic which saw most of their top young stars take to the field. Karamoko Dembele impressed but it was Scott Robertson who landed the one and only goal of the game for The Bhoys – handing them the victory.
This will do wonders for the young side’s confidence, their game time restricted to Glasgow cup and developmental friendlies at the moment.
It was a very stern test and the team stood up to it!
67' – ROBERTSON PUTS THE BHOYS IN FRONT!!!
A wonderful run from Scott, who created space with ease before finding the far corner!

Jonathan Afolabi played well and there was a start for Jack Hendry who will most likely leave the club this January if there’s sufficient interest.
Will any of these players see  first team action in the next few months?

A great test for the Bhoys against the Premier League outfit. Robertson's brilliant second half goal the difference between the two sides here in London. ? pic.twitter.com/5jz3h9ZLWU
