CELTIC are in one of their most rampant run of forms for 80-years after smashing the competition since October.

The bhoys have scored a massive 20 goals in 4 league games with a goal difference of 18.

Back in 1969 Celtic scored 22 goals in 4 games but conceded five with a goal difference of 17.

According to SunSport, you have to go back to before World War 2 to get a more rampant run of consecutive games from the Hoops.

In 1938, Celtic scored 23 and conceded just 4 giving them a goal difference of 19.

Celtic’s current run consists of:

St Johnstone 0-6 Celtic
Celtic 4-2 Hibernian
Dundee 0-5 Celtic
Celtic 5-0 Hearts

The bhoys have Livingston on Sunday to keep the run going.

Before that game though, Brendan Rodgers men have a massive game against Leipzig on Thursday night where they can give their qualification hopes a shot in the arm.

However, a negative result would see the bhoys miss out on a spot in the last 32.

  1. Trying to get my head around the headline in the Sun trumpeting Rangers being top of the UK league for % of match day income to wages paid out to players.
Surely the larger % paid out the bigger the disaster?
If almost all of your match day income, 95% in Rangers case, is going to pay players wages, the less money available to pay the other running costs.
This is exactly why the club is relying on Directors loans to keep the lights on.
The fact that the paper has got it’s thousands mixed up with millions when assessing match day income comparisons, tells its own story.

  2. The kind of crisis that put bums on seats, then all on their feet doin the Huddle. Just beat the Livi, but bury Leipzig. Then address the injury list. And get scouting now.
