A Celtic source has told SunSport they are closing in a deal for West Ham striker Albian Ajeti.
However, talks of an imminent announcement have been quelled with the paper claiming Ajeti isn’t in Glasgow yet to seal the deal.
A Hoops source told SunSport: “Talks are progressing and hopefully there will be an outcome soon.”
Anthony Joseph of Sky Sports reported on Monday evening the player was in Glasgow ahead of a move to the Scottish champions.
West Ham striker Albian Ajeti is in Glasgow to complete his loan move to Celtic.
Ajeti and his agent are finalising terms with the Hoops and he’s due to undergo a medical in the next 24 hours.
The move was in jeaopardy two weeks ago, but I’m told Neil Lennon saved this deal.

All signs are positive Celtic will get a deal done this week and Albian would become Neil Lennon’s third signing of the summer.
Vakoun Bayo’s move to Toulouse has still to go through, the deal has been held up due to their manager testing positive for COVID19.
Neil Lennon is also looking to bring in a centre-back before the end of the transfer window but there’s been no specific names or real top candidates emerging at the moment.
