The Celtic squad have today arrived in France ahead of their triple-header of friendlies and first game in around five months, that are set to take place in the coming week.

The bhoys have spent last week at Loughborough University, which is known as one of the best facilities in the UK for sport science, to up their fitness levels in preparation for the beginning of the 2020/21 campaign.

To take these preparations to the next level last week it was announced that Neil Lennon’s side would be flying out to France to face Nice, Lyon and French Champions Paris Saint-Germain.

Many are looking forward to seeing the reunion of former hoops star Moussa Dembele, who will be facing off against us for his current side Lyon.

The first of these games is set to take place on Thursday when we face Nice, which fans will be able to watch on Premier Sports.

It is also expected that the club will announce further friendlies to take place at Parkhead, as they stated in a statement yesterday there would be several ‘test events’ for the new streaming service that will be used for the games behind closed doors.

With it only being a matter of days before Celtic return to action, many fans will be looking forward to seeing a return of the green and white hoops.
