SCOTT BROWN is still a doubt for Celtic’s trip to Norway on Thursday with Brendan Rodgers admitting he will have to assess his captain before the bhoys fly out on Wednesday.

Broony has missed six games so far with this injury, coming off early in Celtic’s impressive win over Hibs at Celtic Park.

It’s also not the first injury the midfielder has had this season so it’s vital Rodgers all sends him back out when he’s physically ready to go.

“He (Broony) is back in training and we will assess it as the week goes on.” Rodgers Said.

“He hasn’t had a lot of game time over a long period now, so we’ll see how he is over the coming days.”

Celtic have been doing well in Scott’s absence, making their way to the top of the table, getting a vital win at home in the Europa League and getting to the League Cup Final.

Callum McGregor has played Broony’s role very well and has given Rodgers and the Celtic captain breathing space to get properly fit.
