Celtic Women Star, Jodie Bartle, has rightly called out the SWPL for not including one of her teammates on the player of the month ballot.
Bartle pulled no punches as she vouched for Hoops defender Caitlin Hayes and her two player of the match performances live on TV.
Hayes has been ever-present for Celtic since the restart and deserves huge praise for her role.
Jodie Bartle did get a response from the SWPL as to why Caitlin or any Celtic star wasn’t in the mix – perhaps it’s a process that needs to be changed?
Wow! So what, you can only get nominated if you put the ball in the net?
The fact that @caitlin5hayes hasn’t been included for POTM in April is an absolute farce. She’s been an absolute rock at the back, she’d head a bag of cement if you threw it at her???? https://t.co/FQQCJPpDXA

Maybe I’m biased ??♀️. But she got @bbcalba player of the match 2 games running and has been a stalwart in defence. Let’s hope she gets the recognition she deserves next month ??

Celtic have played six games since the restart, winning five with their only defeat coming against Glasgow City.
During the five game winning run, the girls have bagged twenty goals – conceding only two and earned a Celtic Park Glasgow Derby victory.
The fact none of our ghirls are on the POTM ballot is a bit of a joke.
We’ll settle for at least a Champions League spot instead! Celtic can gain ground on the top two this weekend when Glasgow City and Rangers Women go head to head.
The ghirls will be tasked with overcoming Motherwell on Sunday to close the gap.
