Celtic star Hatem Elhamed is on a flight back to Glasgow after he completed his isolation period in Israel. The defender has been in his home country since the international break where he tested positive for the virus.
The defender has spoken about how it pretty much floored him for days and he’s been resting since the positive test.
He will now head back to Lennoxtown where he will be assessed by the coaching staff who will try to get him up to speed.
Celtic’s defence has been criticised in the last two weeks and for good reason. Another two points dropped to Aberdeen with careless defending on show.
Elhamed has been a calming influence on the defence at times and him along with his compatriot Nir Bitton will provide the Celtic manager with more options going forward.
Celtic are now six points off the pace in the SPFL with a game in hand.
