SCOTT BROWN has confirmed he expects a clear out this summer when it comes to personnel to freshen the side up before the start of next season.

There’s likely going to be a new man in charge with a new head scout to make things interesting.

The Celtic captain has been at the club for twelve years and has seen players come and go when it was their time. Celtic have not been at their best all season but they’ve still managed to be better than the rest.

New faces and well scouted talent can give the team a much needed shot in the arm ahead of Champions League qualifiers.

“There will be a clear-out. A lot of people will be leaving and there will be a lot of new faces coming in.” he told SunSport.

“There are a lot of lads who’ve been here a long time, who love being here and have won a lot of trophies. They have a lot of love and passion for the club and the fans.

“We all need a huge push now to get the Scottish Cup again and if we do the Treble again it’s another fantastic season for this club.

“All these lads will go down in history if they manage to do that.”

Brown is still a doubt for the Scottish Cup final with the player suffering a broken toe. The midfielder lifted the league trophy yesterday wearing sandals as he tries to get his foot to heel before the game at Hampden.

Celtic are on the cusp of more history and the Celtic captain will want to be part of that and may even play through the pain barrier.
