Greg Taylor has managed to get into the Celtic side in 2020 after struggling in the first six months of his Parkhead tenure. The player seems to have gone above and beyond in training to get his chance.

On the other side of things we’re looking at the bench the past few games and our other left-back is nowhere to be seen.

Boli hasn’t kicked a ball for Celtic this year yet and has only made the bench for the Partick Thistle game.

We missed it at the weekend but Boli’s absence was questioned and Neil Lennon had a very blunt response.

Asked if he was injured, Lennon told RecordSport: “No he’s just not in the squad at the minute.

“You know, he’s just having a bit of time out to get his top form back.”

It appears he’s taken some heat for the Glasgow Derby defeat and is now in the situation Taylor was in last term. With Neil Lennon clear on Jonny Hayes being in the squad if fit, then he needs to leave out one of his natural left-backs from the squad and this time it’s Bolingoli.

We wonder when the player will find himself back in the squad. Maybe against Clyde on Sunday.
