The Champions League semi-final between Manchester City and Real Madrid was sensational – both legs. It’s why we all love football and it’s why it’s the greatest spectator sport in the world.

Everyone watching as a neutral would have been blown away by the drama and what unfolded in Madrid on Wednesday evening.

Celtic’s French defender Chris Jullien wasn’t one of those neutrals. The big centre back took to social media to celebrate Real’s unlikely comeback in the dying minutes of the game with a ‘Hala Madrid’ video as he celebrated the Spaniard’s.

Chris obviously supporting his countryman Karin Benzema who Cooley slotted the ball in the corner of the net from the penalty spot in extra time.

Chris hasn’t started a game for Celtic this season after returning from injury. He’s failed to make many matchday squads and with a year left of his contract it remains to be seen if Ange will look to keep the defender beyond the summer. Chris was a great signing under Neil Lennon, but does the Celtic gaffer fancy him?

  1. Far better than Starfelt-would be a great pairing with the magnificent CCV.
Beggars belief that a limited player like Welsh is on bench while big Chris is on left on the sidelines
