Ajer has attracted interest from a host of clubs over his time at Celtic, this summer links between himself and Newcastle and Norwich seem to never go away.
Norwich seems to be the more confident of the two sides in getting the Norwegian’s signature this summer. The Canaries’ club website editor tweeted on Wednesday expressing his excitement for his club’s transfer window.
Paddy Davitt claimed that two are in the building, name-checking Scotland International Billy Gilmour and Celtic’s defender Kris Ajer.
Two in the building. #cfc Gilmour on the way. Operation: Ajer well down the track. Slow summer for #ncfc ?

There have been no reports of Celtic accepting any bids from other teams as of yet, however, the wording used by Davitt suggests the transfer is unlikely to happen soon.
Aged 23, Ajer joined the hoops in 2016 and made his debut in a 3-0 win against Lincoln Red Imps. The 6-foot 5-inch man has already impressed in green and white, playing in Europe regularly and domestically.
Ajer is a regular in Norway’s national side. In the last year of his contract, Celtic will be forced to sell for a cut-price or risk losing the defender without any fee received.
I hope you enjoy your new home,
