CELTIC fans have been delighted with the signing of Joe Hart on a number of fronts.

  • He has given us stability in goals
  • The goalkeeper has brought a fresh type of leadership to the dressing room
  • The Englishman has been a class act while representing Celtic

Not for the first time this season, an opposition goalkeeper has been singing the praises of Joe Hart and the way he goes about his business. The former Manchester City man is taking his role as a senior player in the dressing room very seriously and even in defeat he shows class.

Speaking to Polish media website Meczyki, Livingston goalkeeper Max Stryjek revealed the chat he had with Joe after the game and praised the way the player conducted himself.

“We gave a high five, we talked for a while, we exchanged t-shirts. He kept his class. He admitted that we deserved the victory.

“Almost all Celtic players went straight to the dressing room – including Josip Juranović – and he [Hart] went to thank his fans and was able to congratulate us. Their goalkeeping coach [Stevie Woods] was fine too, he praised me for my good performance and wished me good luck.”

Earlier this season, Joe was praised for putting an arm around Jak Alnwick when St Mirren were getting a pasting at Celtic Park.

The goalkeeper’s conduct has been brilliant and he’s representing the club well.

We have been told by a reliable Celtic source that Joe instantly gained the respect of the players and he’s become a positive influence in the dressing room.
