Reo Hatate limped off in the 12th minute against Hibernian on Saturday afternoon.

The Japanese midfielder started the game for the Hoops but pulled up on the half way line after over extending his leg during an attacking passage of play.

It looked like a hamstring issue and the verdict from the bench was to take him off.

Celtic fans will be anxious to find out the condition of their midfielder as soon as possible. Reo Hatate has been sensational for Celtic this season and it’s safe to say we want him fit for the big games coming up.

The Hoops are looking to close out the league title in the next two months. They have a Glasgow derby at the beginning of April and a semi-final at the end of that month.

Hamstring injuries can be tricky for timeframes. We hope it’s been a precaution by the Celtic medical team and Ange. The sooner we can get him back fit, the better.

We do have the added luxury of an international week after the Hibernian game.
