ANGE Postecoglou has confirmed that Aaron Mooy is a doubt for the trip to Ibrox this weekend, while James Forrest is available for selection after a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

The Aussie midfielder is ‘sore’, Ange Postecoglou says, and is ‘tough and go’ ahead of the derby.

Speaking via Celtic TV, the Celtic manager delivered the injury update:

“James Forrest is available. He’s back training which is good.

“Aaron Mooy is touch and go for tomorrow. He’s a bit sore so we’ll see how he is.”

Mooy has fallen out of the team in recent weeks, with his injury stopping his momentum and performances dipping. O’Riley, who’s now nailed down a spot in the team, has been playing well again, shaking off the poor form that he’s had for much of this season.

However, Aaron Mooy will be a big miss at Ibrox. We saw the impact on a game he can have from the bench at Tynecastle last week, with the player an ideal replacement at Ibrox. On the bright side, Postecoglou didn’t completely rule him out.
