CRAIG GORDON made a quiet and kind gesture at the end of the Rosenborg vs Celtic Europa League tie by going over to the home support and gifting his jersey to a young Rosenborg fan.

The youngster had just watched his side get beat by Celtic but he looked very appreciative at the gesture and it was a nice touch by the Celtic goalkeeper.

This was Celtic’s second visit to the stadium this season and you can see a bond has developed between the two clubs. Rosenborg brought in a choir to sing You’ll Never Walk Alone at a security meeting before the game on Thursday.

The Rosenborg fans also had a sense of humour by displaying a banner which said ‘See you next season, Celtic’. It’s the third time Rodgers Squad has faced the Norwegians in three years so we probably will!

Craig Gordon won’t be needing his jersey for the cup final anyway. The Celtic number one will be sitting out the game to make way for Scott Bain.
