Some of the Celtic team were back at Lennoxtown on Thursday as the bhoys get set to take on Motherwell in the SPFL.

After the international break, the players have mostly returned to the club at this point but there are some stragglers.

We saw the likes of Abada, Kyogo, O’Riley and Cal Mac back on the training field. One person we didn’t see train during the three minute clip was Cameron Carter-Vickers.

The American defender missed out on international duty with the US national team after picking up an injury before the break. CCV missed the defeat to St Mirren and was sorely missed from Celtic’s backline in Paisley.

The defender not being on the training ground today means there’s only an outside chance he’ll make the game on Saturday.

We will learn more on Friday afternoon when CeltsAreHere attend the pre-match press conference with Ange Postecoglou. The Celtic manager will give us a health check on the squad and who will be available for selection. Not just for the Motherwell game, but the Champions League tie between the Hoops and Leipzig in a matter of days.

Fingers crossed there’s good news coming.
