With the huge Glasgow Derby game coming up tomorrow, the Celtic media team have released some footage of the squad training today ahead of the match.

Many eagle-eyed fans spotted one thing with the footage though and that was the omission of central-defender Christopher Jullien.

In recent weeks the French defender has had his injury struggles and hasn’t played since the 12th of September against Ross County.

He had made a return to the bench in the last two matches though and supporters were hopeful that with both Hatem Elhamed and Nir Bitton out, Christopher Jullien would be available to allow us to play a back three.

Although, he is missing from training it doesn’t suggest he can be ruled out completely. It could be a case of him being rested a day before the game so that he doesn’t pick-up and injury.

There has also been some suggestion/rumours that he will undergo a late fitness test tomorrow.

Jullien has been massive for the side in these games in the past, even scoring the winner in the League Cup final back in December. Fingers crossed, when the team is released at 11:15, the 28-year old’s name will be on the teamsheet
