Reports in Italy claim Lazio want to offer Dedryk Boyata £50k per week to ply his trade in Serie A next season.

The same reports claim they will also offer Celtic a sizeable fee to get their man.

The report goes as far as saying Lazio have already been in contact with the defender which would be an illegal move.

Dedryk is entering the last year of his contract with Celtic and has so far been reluctant to sign a new deal with the club.

If these rumours are true then Celtic couldn’t possibly stand in the Belgian’s way.

Dedryk gets a lot of stick at times, but he is arguably Celtic’s best out and out defender.

That being said if there’s someone out there that believes the defender is worth that much then good luck to them and him!

Boyata is currently on World Cup duty with Belgium where he’s started their first two games.

The double treble winner promised to settle his future upon his return from Russia.

  1. Speculation, is like a billin heatwave on the 12 of July. Very seldom ever comes to fruition. But if. this report is true, it would kill more uncare bears. HWGFTIAR

  2. If this is true we should grab it with both hands, with this kind of money we should be able to strengthen our defence for the CL. HH
