In our last Europa League outing against Bayer Leverkusen, there weren’t too many positives to take out of the game as we went on to lose 4-0 against the German giants.
Despite the result, what Ange Postecoglou was able to take out of the game, though, was knowing that certain players in his squad were very much ready for the big occasions to come this season.
One player who showed that against Leverkusen was Jota.
Today, the winger received some recognition from UEFA after his display as they put a video of one of his key highlights from the game on social media.

In his short time with the Hoops so far, the on-loan Benfica man has shown Celtic fans precisely what he is capable of, picking up assists and scoring some key goals.
It is exciting that we have a young player like Jota at the club and available for us to have him a bit more long-term, too, with the option to buy at the end of the season.
Hopefully, this is just the beginning, and there is, even more to come from the talented wideman.
