OLIVIER NTCHAM says his good pal Moussa Dembele is thrilled for him that he’s penned a new four-year deal with the club.

Moussa Dembele never signed a contract extension with Celtic at any point and after two seasons wanted to leave Glasgow – and did just about everything to push it through.

Even though he wanted out, Dembele’s happy Olivier has signed up for Celtic’s ten in a row tilt.

The pair play for the French under 21 side and still hang about with each other when they can.

Moussa convinced Ntcham Celtic were the right club for him last season when the Bhoy’s came calling to take the midfielder from Manchester City.

Speaking about his old pal, Ntcham said:

“When I signed for Celtic, I spoke with Moussa. He told me that it was good to come here, to play in the games, score some goals and to win some trophies.” Ntcham told SunSport.

“When I got here, I have seen that and I have been happy.

“Moussa left but life is like that. Of course I miss him, he is my friend, but we stay in touch all of the time.

“He is pleased for me that I have agreed this deal to stay at Celtic. I am really happy to have this situation completed.

Ntcham has been out of action since the second half of the Murrayfield tie versus Hearts and the team have kept their good run of form going without him.

He’s still a very vital player and has come up with some big moments in his Celtic career already.

His goal won the Glasgow Derby earlier this season.
