Celtic will be without their second striker Giakoumakis for 2-3 weeks the manager has confirmed.
The Greek man was last seen at Celtic Park against Livingston missing a penalty. He’s now out with a training ground injury and might not be back in contention before the winter break if he needs to get back up to speed.
So far, the Giakoumakis signing has been one of the underwhelming transfers in the Ange Postecoglou era. The lad is a presence but he’s yet to show the form or at least stay fit to be able to show the form of last season.
The player was on fire for Venlo but it’s going to take longer for him to settle in at Celtic.
The bad thing for the Hoops is they only have Ajeti as back up if Kyogo is out or needs rested. We need another striker in this January.
