Celtic striker Kyogo Furuhashi appears to have provided fans with a positive injury update on social media.

Taking to his Instagram account, the Japanese international insisted he is looking forward to making his return to action soon, as he recovers from the knee injury picked up on international duty.

It came as a huge blow to Ange Postecoglou that the 26-year old had been ruled out for several of the Hoops fixtures after picking up the knock.

The summer signing has made an incredible start to life in Glasgow and instantly became a fans favourite to many, with his goal-scoring ability and attitude.

Currently, Postecoglou has one senior striker in Albian Ajeti going into tomorrow’s night’s fixture against Real Betis, as Giorgos Giakoumakis continues to get up to speed.

Ange confirmed that Kyogo was set to miss around 3-4 weeks of action. Fingers crossed, he makes a swift return as soon as possible to continue his lighting fast start to life as a Celtic player.
