Giakoumakis scored Celtic’s second goal of the game against Kilmarnock on Saturday evening to ensure their safe passage through to the final of the League Cup.

Earlier on Saturday, reports out of Japan revealed the striker heading out of Celtic to the J-League was a very real possibibilty

The Greek striker made the bench at Hampden and took his goal well when the ball fell to him in the final minutes of the game.

Posting an image of his Celtic celebration on Instagram, the Celtic forward posted a cryptic message.

If you want to read between the lines, then he might be subtly telling the Celtic support that could be his final contribution to the club.

Ange has spoken about Giakoumakis training well and has made it clear his exit has not got to the stage where Ange has been informed about it.

There are two weeks left of the transfer window. We’d be surprised to see Giak stay beyond January,

  1. Here’s hoping but all of scottish football nearly seen an injustice not cause of a ref but because a pitch that was against fast flowing football after five minutes divets were appearing all over the Kilmarnock half who had to try and break down a stubborn team who had 11 men in there own half when celtic had the ball know football pundits say its good management and coaching professional way of saying parking the bus the were set out for crumbs from long punts throw ins corner kicks and of coarse a penalty against a team that has some terrible penalty calls against them so mcinnes you defended with 10 men then ref refused to give a penalty you coached for all week long throw in player goes down when touched sorry mcinnes celtic would have scored if not in 90 minutes certainly in extratime look at celts second 4minutes from time u actually had 6 players in celtic half when pressured into bad pass celtic tore through you justice and football and sponsirs win
