One man who deserves a lot of credit for the way he’s gone about his business this season is Anthony Ralston. Not only did he have the pressure of being Celtic’s only right back for the start of the season – but he was in the team knowing a lot of the Celtic support didn’t have faith in him [including me].
What he’s managed to show in the first two months has surprised many. We’re happy to eat humble pie and give credit to the big defender for his application and attitude.
There’s one man in Scotland who doesn’t fancy giving the defender kudos or recognition for his fantastic start to the season – unfortunately for Anthony, it’s the Scotland manager Steve Clarke.
Some thought Anthony should’ve been part of the initial squad of players. However, with Nathan Paterson dropping out on Monday morning, there’s STILL no room for Anthony Ralston in the team.
Clarke choosing to call up Paul McGinn.

IN: Paul McGinn.
OUT: Ryan Fraser, Kenny McLean, Nathan Patterson. pic.twitter.com/1uoqV8h0rD
Fans can’t understand why Clarke has snubbed the Celtic star.
3 Scotland players withdraw and still no place for Ralston.
