DEDRYK BOYATA has dropped his biggest hint yet that he has a desire to leave Celtic and head back to the Premier League.

The Belgian defender was once at the bottom of the pecking order at Celtic Paek after a calamitous season under Ronny Deila.

It was 6 months into Brendan Rodgers reign when the Irishman gave Boyata a start against Albion Rovers and he never looked back from there.

Since then the Belgian has been a first pick when fit for Brendan Rodgers, even with some dodgy performances along the way.

However, it looks now that he fancies a move back down south as soon as this summer as his contract runs down.

Speaking about a new deal Boyata seemed underwhelmed “I like Celtic, but I am in no hurry to extend my contract.”

“When City sold me to Celtic, I always said that a return to the Premier League is a possibility.”

Most Celtic fans believe that Celtic should look to get a fee for the defender should he not sign a deal by the summer.

  1. I really don’t intend slagging the SPL down but big Boyata won’t last a season in the EPL, if anyone will take him that is. A complete bombscare, if only his high self-opinion was turned into action on the pitch
