CELTIC midfielder Olivier Ntcham was due back at Lennoxtown this morning to face the music after quotes from a French newspaper stated he wanted to leave the club this summer.

Neil Lennon confirmed the player would have to seek him out and also explain his choice to go public with his comments to the entire Celtic squad.

Many fans believe Ntcham’s heart has not been in it for some time now and while he is a good talent on his day, the Frenchman rarely turned up last season when he was fit.

After signing a new Celtic deal last September, any move away from the club will be entirely up to Celtic. Porto were highly interested last season and a move to the French league has been touted. Any club who have a desire to take the Celtic midfielder better have deep pockets. There’s no way the midfielder goes on the cheap, regardless of his own desire to leave.
