CELTIC are back in action after 131 days!
It seems like a lifetime ago since we saw the Hoops in action. The players unknowingly signed off with a 5-0 win against St Mirren in the league back in March.
Now, with nine in a row bag, the bhoys are in France and are upping their preparation for the new season.
Tonight, they will kick off their 20/21 season against Nice and we couldn’t be more delighted to see Neil Lennon and his men back.
It’s all about fitness and match sharpness at the moment. The result is secondary while the players get up to speed.
We already knew Leigh Griffiths wouldn’t be part of this squad, leaving space for Patryk Klimala to come in and show what he can do. The Pole has been in the gym since March and has bulked up ahead of the new season.
Scott Bain is Celtic’s most senior keeper and will continue to be unless Celtic bring in another stopper in the coming weeks.
