On paper, Celtic travel to what should be their toughest test of the domestic season. It’s a battle against the second best team in Scotland on their home patch.

Celtic reached 60 games unbeaten on Saturday against Hibs which had the added bonus of sending the bhoys to a cup final against the mighty Motherwell next month.

Back to League matters this evening.

The last time Aberdeen managed to beat Celtic was in February 2016. But they’ve had some close battles over the past three seasons. It’s safe to say The Dons have established themselves as Scotlands second best team. Tonight will be the first time the teams face each other since Tom Rogic’s last-minute wonder goal secured an invincible treble for Brendan Rodgers.

Will it be Number 61 for Celtic Tonight? Here is the team that has to answer that question.

  1. I think I’d have picked the same team myself.
Sinclair could do with a break but will probably show sometime in the 2nd half for Rogic.
