After an excellent display against Aberdeen at Pittodrie midweek, Celtic are today looking to equal a Willie Maley record by going 62 domestic games unbeaten.

Absolutely unbelievable form. With a special night looming at Celtic Park in the Champions League against Bayern, it’s important Celtic keep focus. Rodgers made a big call on Wednesday by dropping Griffiths, Sinclair, and Roberts but he just proved the strength of this Celtic squad as the champions brushed the Dons aside.

The Big surprise today is, talented young winger Mikey Johnston drafted in to help secure 62. It’s hard not to assume Dembele and Sinclair are been saved for the Bayern game. A few other exclusions may help give away a starting 11 for Bayern.

  1. Very, very disappointing Celtic have now dropped 6 points at home this season. The home games are also very boring and frustrating with Celtic incapable of breaking very poor teams down. Clearly the others seem to have worked out how to play against us at home, they realise that they will get chances and if they stick one away they will come away with at least a point. The Shooting from distance is also sub standard. It seems the second string is not good enough to replace the top team players who are needed for CL duties. Too slow, too laboured and far too obvious.
