CELTIC are reportedly in the mix for Tottenham player Vincent Janssen with The Celtic Blog reporting the player was at Celtic Park last Wednesday for the Dundee game.
So who is Vincent Janssen?
Janssen, 24, joined Spurs back in 2016 from AZ Alkmaar for €22million according to TransferMarkt.
The striker has made 197 senior appearances in his career, scoring 82 goals and assisting in 27.
In his Spurs career, the Dutchman has only scored six goals in 39 appearances and it’s thought the club are looking to offload the player shortly.
However, while €22million isn’t that big a deal for the riches of the Premier League – the club are still likely to demand a healthy fee for the forward.
If Janssen was at the game against Dundee, it’s likely the player met with club officials and Brendan Rodgers and could he have been the mystery star Rodgers was talking about when he told fans he was jetting out to speak to a transfer target?
