CELTIC have stepped up their efforts to give Karamoko Dembele experience by giving the 15-year-old 45 minutes for the developmental side today.

The squad that regularly comprises of Celtic’s most talented 17 to 20-year-olds had faith to give Karamako some game time as they wrap up their season with a heavy fixture pile up.

The highly rated youngster who has been hopping back and forth between Scotland and England at international level was called upon for the second half against Aberdeen where he acquitted himself well.

While the talent is obviously there – he is still only 15 and has a lot of maturing as well as growing to do before he can mix it properly with the big bhoys.

Celtic and Brendan Rodgers have high hopes for young Dembele who could be someone Celtic fans regularly see in the next 2-3 years.

The game itself ended in a 1-1 draw with a late equaliser from Celtic to cancel Aberdeen’s opener.
