JOHNNY KENNY scored a brace in his first game for Shamrock Rovers after completing a loan move from Celtic to the side at the start of the January window.
The 19-year-old is off the back of a disappointing first half of the season with Scottish Championship side Queens Park and is looking to get some momentum and game time in the League of Ireland, a league he’s done very well in before with Sligo Rovers.
The Loanee impressed in the pre-season match, with his side running out 4-0 winners over Lucan United.

Kenny was one of two players to start both halves for the side, with the manager making nine changes at halftime. Both of his goals came in the second half.
The loanee impressed with his movement and finishing, giving the Shamrock Rovers fans a glimpse of what he can offer the team this season. Kenny‘s debut performance was a positive one, and he will be looking to build on it as he looks to make a name for himself with the Irish club.
