Celtic striker Patryk Klimala has been linked with a possible exit to join MLS side New York Red Bulls.

According to Times writer Alison McConnell, who can be known as one of the more reliable names in journalism when it comes to Celtic, the Polish striker could be making his way to the MLS this summer.

At this stage, it is unclear whether this deal would be a permanent transfer or a loan which could be beneficial for the 22-year old, he would also be joining former Hoops Cameron Harper and Andrew Gutman who have also recently joined the Red Bulls.

Klimala joined the club as the first signing of the 2020 January transfer window but has failed to make the grade as of yet.

Admittedly, he probably hasn’t been given a fair crack in the starting line-up with only a handful of starts and the majority of his appearances coming from the bench.

With a player like Klimala, it feels as though there could be potential there. So a loan deal could be a good move to see how he gets on in the US.
